What Are Motherboard and Chipset Drivers?
Your motherboard drivers help the operating system communicate with your hardware. These typically include:
Chipset drivers – manage communication between CPU, RAM, and components
LAN drivers – for Ethernet networking
Audio drivers – for onboard sound chips
Storage drivers – for SATA or NVMe SSDs
USB drivers – for ports and peripherals
